The Queen Charlotte Chorus is located in Charlotte, North Carolina. We are part of Region 14 of Sweet Adelines International. Region 14 (nicknamed the Blue Ridge Region) includes choruses from North and South Carolina, Virginia, and eastern Tennessee. Sweet Adelines International is a highly respected worldwide organization of almost 30,000 women singers committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop harmony through education and performance. More information about worldwide barbershop organizations can be found on the Links page.

Queen Charlotte is very active. We are constantly refining our sound, expanding our repertoire, creating new shows, recruiting new members, and planning for competitions. Our membership consists of women of different musical backgrounds. Our progress requires commitment from our members, who already have busy professional and family lives! Yet we have found that Queen Charlotte not only entertains people – it also provides a getaway for our members, a chance to socialize with other musical women.

We rely on our experienced Master Director, Cindy Shook (also a member of Finders Keepers), and leadership team to guide our singing to new levels of excellence. These individuals plan exciting packages and train and encourage us through every challenge. They have the remarkable ability to lead performers of different musical backgrounds. We are always learning new things from them!
